- Unpack the printer from the box.
- Remove all plastic and orange tape, then discard (keep the user manual).
- Connect the power cord, insert the provided ink cartridges, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete a printhead alignment.
- Load 5 sheets of 8.5 x11 printer paper into the bottom tray.
- Connect the printer to the internet:
- If using an ethernet cable, plug it into both the router and the printer.
- If using Wi-Fi, ensure you have the router password ready.
