# What is Bloomnet?

Bloomnet® is a nationwide network that connects independent local flower shops and other gourmet gifting merchants, allowing them to send and receive orders. Bloomnet® is part of the 1-800-Flowers, Inc. family of brands and serves as the primary fulfillment network for 1-800-Flowers.com orders.

As Bloomnet® members, florists and other merchants receive orders to design and deliver locally, while Bloomnet® handles the technology, order routing, payment processing, and behind-the-scenes support.

Bloomnet® helps florists:

- Receive and fulfill local delivery orders
- Get paid and place wholesale orders through a centralized account
- Manage orders, delivery confirmations, and communications digitally
- Reach customers they might not otherwise access on their own
