The first Sunday of September, this Dutch flower parade happens in several towns throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. The biggest flower parade in the world occurs in Zundert. Floats, cars, and sometimes boats are magnificently decorated with flowers of different shapes and colors. Each year the parades have a theme attached to them.
Chiang Mai Flower Festival
Every year during the first week of February, one of the most beautiful and colorful festivals in northern Thailand takes place in Chiang Mai. The Chiang Mai Flower Festival is held at Suan Buak Haad City Park just at the southwestern corner of Tha Pae Gate that is adorned with the hundreds of varieties produced by the region, where the producers display their products and where they show incredible and beautiful tapestries of flowers.
Brussels' Flower Carpet
The magnificent spectacle of the Grand-Place of Brussels covered with flowers happens every two years. Both flower lovers and the general public celebrate with a large influx of visitors. The Floral Carpet offers a different face to the heart of the city of Brussels. The Grand-Place, a Gothic jewel and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is dressed in colors thanks to the work of more than 100 volunteers
Festival of the Flowers, Medellin
During the month of August, the Festival of Flower attracts people from all over Colombia to the city of Medellín. All come to witness the special attractions that include a horseback ride through the city, orchid competition, different music festivals, and amazing flower parades.
