Mark Nance, AAF, inducted into TSFA Hall of Fame/?php print $breadcrumb; ?>

The Texas State Florists’ Association (TSFA) has announced the induction of Mark Nance, AAF, into the TSFA Hall of Fame. Mr. Nance is President of BloomNet®, an international wire service and world class business solutions provider, and he also serves as President of Napco Imports as well as President of 1800flowers Franchising. The induction took place at a special ceremony held July 28, 2017 during the Texas Floral Expo in San Marcos, Texas.

Mark supports the florists of Texas in a magnificent way, he is an awesome individual, and we are extremely proud that he is now a member of the TSFA Hall of Fame.”
Mr. Nance was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and he joined BloomNet in 2004 as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. He was promoted to President of BloomNet in 2006, overseeing all aspects of the company and spearheading the growth of BloomNet’s operations while continuing to expand the company’s wide array of innovative products, services and programs offered to BloomNet Professional Florists.
After successfully serving the oil and gas industry in a number of different management positions, Mr. Nance began his distinguished career in the floral industry nearly 30 years ago. During his 17-year tenure with American Floral Services (AFS), he held a variety of positions in sales, marketing, technology, international development and senior management, rising to the position of Chief Marketing Officer. In 1994, he was part of the senior management team that led to the successful sale and re-capitalization of AFS. In November 2000, Mr. Nance was a member of the executive team that successfully united AFS and Teleflora under the Teleflora banner.
Complementing his business management positions, Mr. Nance has also been extensively involved with numerous floral, professional and community organizations, providing his experience and knowledge on a broad range of topics and initiatives.
He has served on the boards or been active in Sales and Marketing Executives International, The Society of American Florists, American Institute of Floral Designers Foundation, American Academy of Floriculture, American Floral Endowment, Floral Retailers Conference, Texas State Florists’ Association, Oklahoma State Florist Association, and the Historical Society of Setauket New York, PTF, as well as several other organizations.
