Celebrating Valentine’s Success

Due in great part to your incredible floral talents and commitment to providing the finest service to your customers, Valentine’s Day 2022 was a tremendous success. This year we faced the challenges of executing the Valentine’s Day holiday the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday. Working together as an unbeatable team, BloomNet and® along with our amazing family of professional BloomNet members nationwide delivered approximately 23 million stems to celebrate Cupid’s big day. Thank you for your extraordinary efforts.

We are pleased to report that BloomNet Members across the country took advantage of the support initiatives and strategies we offered, including the® Peak Product Assortment SKU-down Program which significantly reduced the number of products available for delivery Friday, February 11 through Valentine’s Day. This program was instrumental in driving consumer demand while streamlining and simplifying holiday production for members throughout our network.® also offered flexible deliveries, a substitution policy, along with One-of-a-Kind floral arrangement options to maximize your capacity for Valentine’s Day deliveries and support your shop’s ability to fulfill more orders.

To further support your capacity for deliveries during the peak Valentine’s Day period,® will ensure that BloomNet Florists are not penalized for consumer complaints stating that their delivery was “Not as Pictured," so long as floral substitutions are appropriately made in accordance with our Substitution Guidelines for these arrangements. Lastly, to provide shops with flexibility and allow you to showcase your artistry,® aggressively promoted "Florist Choice" or One-of-a-Kind arrangements to make sure no Valentine was left behind.

Driving consumer demand even further, was the compelling® #TheWayToWow campaign featuring One-of-a-Kind floral arrangements, special Valentine’s services, and complimentary offerings.

Now with Valentine’s Day behind us, it’s time to focus on the next few months and new opportunities to grow your business. March is typically a very busy month for birthdays and includes two holidays perfect for floral sales. International Women’s Day (3/8) and St. Patrick’s Day (3/17).

What's more, as we head closer to Spring, now's the perfect time to leverage® Flower of the Year - Tulip and launch the Tulip Spectacular promotion.
