Be Prepared for Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day

Once a furry friend, always a furry friend... Honor the love of a pet that has crossed the rainbow bridge this August 28th, because it is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day.

Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day is set aside to let pet owners recognize and celebrate the lives of their pets that have passed on. It doesn’t matter what kind of pet it was or when that pet has passed, this day is for all pets.

Founded by Deborah Barnes, author and blogger for Zee & Zoey’s Cat Chronicles, paid tribute to this day for her Ragdoll cat, Mr. Jazz. Mr. Jazz was a pet she had to say goodbye to on August 28, 2013.

Her readers loved her book so much that Barnes decided to make the day an official holiday, so all pets are remembered. There is no right or wrong way to celebrate this day or the pet that you loved so much. However, sometimes it can be challenging to find a way that truly recognizes those furry family members.

Help your customers honor Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day with these beautiful tributes for pets that have passed. Go beyond the day and stay stocked on pet memorials, so your customers can have the option to honor a furry friend any day of the year.

Nothing truly compares to the love of a pet. A pet loves you through anything and everything. It is important to keep your shop stocked with pet related items for the days they are needed most. Whether your customer is buying for the loss of their own pet or having something delivered to a friend who is grieving, these are always viable options.

Deliver these memorials on their own or offer them with fresh flowers. A colorful vase or rainbow-inspired flowers pay a beautiful tribute for this holiday and throughout the year because we should never not recognize a pet’s love. It is a love that never ends.
